Worry not dear Richnorth about "arab jet fighter coming right at me to send me to Paradise". Some facts commonly known : No Israeli pilot has lost his life against any Arab pilot in a dogfight. Some lost their airplane, but survived. Heaviest dogfight day in the early eighties : Syria Israel : 82 to 1. Gulf war : only four Iraki jets take a go on two days. All downed. Why, because your USUK friends must have send a couple the worst fighting bastards they have. You know, those guys that will never get an orgasm if they have to shoot twice, like a religious thing, or a spasm. And they were diplomats too, as two victories on the same day were attributed to a single Saudi pilot. That's what a Coalition is about! The Saudies were so happy, so proud. A double gold metal. Now, for more, we can look into the Irak/Iran 9 years war. Each had a good couple or hundred fighters and bombers, (more so 500, but less than half top class) And each country gladly bombs the other, including large bombs against civilian populations and huge oil tankers. Well the sea is big too. Oh, no problem in the world, no protest, Paris, Berlin, London, Washington, nobody marches. Legless world. And the funniest thing is that those Irakis/Iranis pilots never, but never managed to meet each other in the sky. Each one sneaks to his target, and radars are not for dogfights. Could be because of the desert, the heat, the sweat in the eyes, life, love fear. I don't know. But no dogfight. May be Allah knows why they fly but don't fight...? May be they were told that one doesn't do such things? Like it's uncivilized ? But as long as these nice rich Arabs keep buying airplanes etc, we ain't going to tell them what to do with their money, shall we ?
