Sorry I did not understand your point.

My point is that 7 out of 7 is statistically significant and as long as this pattern holds why bet against it.

There are other differences too.
Max Pain works best in a sideways grinding market.
That is the market we are in.
Max Pain (in theory anyway, works least best in a strong trend). We have been chopping down but no mammoth flush like last sept (the last time I am certain it failed).
