Poor John. He just doesn't get it, does he? :>)

Interesting rerun this Friday on a show done last year that caused a lot of controversy. It has been updated, and I would recommend it.

ABC News Special
Tampering with Nature with John Stossel
60 min. (8PM Central, check your time zone)
John Stossel explores the controversy surrounding human efforts to fool Mother Nature.

Stossel begins by pointing out several examples of tampering that we take for granted: modern medicine, dams and agriculture. Clearly, there are benefits to altering nature, but at what point will we have gone too far? Speaking with scientists and environmental activists, Stossel presents the pros and cons of such hot-button topics as cloning, gene therapy, genetically engineered food and global-warming theories. And since kids say the darnedest things, Stossel also includes children's comments on what they're learning at school about global warming.
