Well, well, who'd a thunk it? But Scheer manages to miss the point just as badly from his new position: Facing such a dominant army, those who are stateless can only win by proving their case in the court of world opinion. By embracing the self-immolation of his own people as their most reliable weapon, Arafat has failed miserably to do this No, dummy, aside from America, the Palestinians are doing great in world opinion. And why? Because of people who think like you -- who romanticize the "underdog" and will see no evil in his behavior, as long as he mouths the right slogans in your ears. How else do they manage to convince the soi-disant champions of human rights that they have "no choice" but to run their campaign by blowing up malls and ice cream parlors?
