What do you think will happen on the market for the next week or two?

for the next week I guess I will defer to mishedlo and others. the evidence certainly is that we will get an options expiration ramp. I haven't covered any of my core semi (others, too) shorts though. I use the rallies to scalp day trade shorts and a rare long. got in too early yesterday and gave back some of the prior day's profits.

If we get a ramp back to QQQ 30, I will definitely add to my core. Otherwise, I have quite a full load. (Not as full as a month ago, these things have come way down. <g> But I have a lot of shares.)

the wheels are starting to come off the semi train. by the end of the month the semis (especially the equips) will be a lot lower.

Gold looks to have topped out. Dollar rebounding

I meant to comment on this. I subscribe to the gold is in a new bull market theory. Have you seen the dow/gold chart? Jeff has talked about it on his thread and he's a sharp guy (it's a good thread, too)

Subject 52896

Too many people are skeptical about gold, and the hardest thing to do in a bull market is buy corrections.

The dollar isn't going to be rebounding for more than a bounce. I'm an honorary member of the Stephen Roach Society. <g>
