You're right about basic contact law.

I accepted. Those are matters of record on the thread.

The consideration was mutual promises to perform. That's perfectly adequate consideration.

That formed a contract. Contracts can be verbal and binding, but in this case it was in writing, clearly laid out here on the thread.

Any first year law student could prevail on proving the existence of a contract.
