Yes, those are the pork barrel projects I would expect to get tossed to someone with political connections. You should have seen government managers get ready for Y2K , however - no screwing around there, they wanted someone who could make sure their hardware wouldn't crash on January 1. Security purchases will be the same. No one wants to be sitting in front of a Congressional panel explaining how the water treatment facility data was hacked and 10,000 people died in a terrorist attack that could have been prevented.
