Shack "all lawyers should be shot soon"

Present company excluded I hope, because if I wasn't here you'd have one less person to use as a contrary indicator. <g>

You probably meant "all lawyers should have a shot, and soon." After today's roller coaster ride, I could probably use a double. <g>

*Major OT* Sorry, I got a Tiger Woods ban on my TV for this year...because...

At a packed press conference yesterday, a reporter asked him if he was following the World Cup, and who his favorite player was "Beckham or Figo or Friedel (American goalie)"

Tiger just smiled, and said, "You got the wrong country, buddy".

Hey, I like a good "soccer is boring" joke as well as the next guy, but Tiger's comment was too sharp and pointed for that. They seem pretty classless. Also, they made no sense to me: (1) Tiger is half Korean- so you'd think he'd be beyond this "what is American" crap....sheet golf came from Scotland Tiger (2) Tiger is a world sports star- you'd think he'd have some interest in or respect for the world's most popular spectator sport (like it or not). Actually Tiger is more than that- he is approaching a level of stardom that few attain ("Ali, Pele, etc."). Those guys, when they got to that level, realised the world was a much bigger place, etc., and were careful not to needlessly diss others...

(3) His girlfriend is a Swede for Godsake (they are still in Cup) (4) Soccer is popular is US (participating obviously more than men pro league), and it is silly to argue otherwise

Given the jello, thought I'd give you the full scoop. Sounds like Tiger is just a bit full of himself to me, and that's just enough to make me turn the channel.
