you can prove that it was written by several eye people that were first person to the events? there was no word of mouth? the original text was not altered over time? how exactly would you prove these things? and yes you are correct. My telling you of my arrival to work is not a science... it is a tale. Setting out the initial conditions for my arrival to work, the parameters and exceptions, and finalizing the manner in which events would be recorded and measured is science.

Science proves a hypothesis by observation of a repeated given event.(ex. water freezes at 0 degrees celsius) However, if you told me that you drove to work this morning, stopped at a stop light for 3 minutes, changed lanes to avoid a dog, and then arrived at work behind a semi truck, can that be proven scientifically? Blind faith is a cop out. The New Testament is based on eyewitness accounts of people that were there. If 2 or 3 people witnessed your trip to work your testimony would be believed. The apostles wrote what they saw and testified to it. The disbelief comes in years later by people that were not even present. You choose what you believe, but for me I will believe those who were there and lived it. 11 of the apostles died for their belief. These same men that were scattered when Christ was taken and crucified. If Christ was not raised from the dead, what would create such conviction as to die for it? Only Christ revealing Himself to His apostles after calvary would have created such a change of character. Christ is alive. He changes lives. I am a witness to this change.>> .....brother!! There is no evidence that any apostles were martyred. Though there are some historical references that indicate the possibility of 3 (or perhaps 4) being killed as religious subversives. This is nothing new. It happens every day in modern society. Do you really think that every Arab who blows himself up has been touched by the truth of God? If they rule the world in a thousand years and get to write a lot of crap about these boys of God..will everyone kiss the ground? infidels.org
