Like you, I was expecting a "pain-related rally" (thanks to Mis and some of the others for their solid commentary on same), and was totally delighted to be virtually clear and on the sidelines by noon yesterday. But today, the distribution was very aggressive, which suggested a heightened desire to unload. "There are the quick and there are the dead" in this nutbar market, so I dove back in. I did fudge mid afternoon by taking profits on a couple of positions just to book them and at the same time add to the cash reserves.
