I don't see it at siliconinvestor.com I think more then the number of new posts its the number of users who bookmark the thread with a substraction for people who unbookmark the thread. That opinion is just a guess but I've seen threads with tons of posts that didn't get in to the hot subjects list. All SI says about how hot subjects are determined is "* Score is calculated from a trend analysis formula of bookmarks and posting activity. The percentage is roughly the increase in posting activity and bookmarking in the last 24 hours (vs. the last 7 days.)" Tim I don't think this conversation has caused to many new people to bookmark the thread. Tim
