Nope, I can only imagine. I was talking to a nurse today who's working in an ER and she said that violence is becoming a real issue. This is well established hospital in a small NE area...and she said that the instances of violence are on the rise. It's not unusual for someone on PCP or heroin to be brought in and tear the place apart. She worked an ICU unit last week and an old man was dying. His son came in, waved a gun at her and told her that she was not to let him die. This was his father whom he hadn't seen for years because they were astranged and he had lots of issues to clear up with the old man before he died. Life is weird...and some jobs show how weird it truly is!
