Timba,

You don't need to download twice. Once you get your disc and manual from QP2 you will quickly learn how to tell QP to do the Metastock conversion for you. I run this on auto pilot each evening starting about 6 PM my time. That's 8 PM for QP time and I never fail to get the data and the conversion. I'm a very early riser, so my charts are ready to look at when I fire up about 0500 each morning.

You made the right decision! If you need help, it's right here. ...an aside if I may. Brooke is perhaps the most talented QP scan writer on earth. I can't tell you how much she's helped me. Ask later about her web site of ready to use scans.

Ken

One slight problem, QP is held to 255 stock directories due to Metastock's not sharing format with competitors. It has never been a problem with me.

I think you should reduce the 11,000 or so stocks to a smaller number. Why take up space and time on stocks you would never trade. So feed the results of scans to your metastock directories.
