a lucky punch
I hope the terrorist attacks were a lucky punch. The alternative theory is that they were allowed to strike to further the Central Asian oil deals. I would like to think that Ashcroft pulled the counter terrorist operations to staff his bordello peep shows and internet porn searches rather than think he was deliberately pulling back to create an enemy where only a crazy existed. A lucky punch? I hope so!

nytimes.com

This study was from before Junior Bush's gutting of emission requirements for Power Plants. Imagine that, today Bush just signed up to kill more American's than Al Qeida. Where is your war for that!!

WASHINGTON, April 17 — A study prepared by a private contractor estimates that pollution from more than 80 power plants owned by eight electric utilities will cause nearly 6,000 premature deaths in the year 2007.
