That is frightening.
Someone broke into our house when we lived in another state, and had just built a new home. Only my good jewelry was stolen. The police said after construction, there are always a lot of keys floating around..so...a word to the wise..

If you buy or build a new home, immediately, change the locks...before you move in.

I felt violated, and I wasn't in the house..You must have been spooked for years after that!
