George, I loved your comments, I agree on most of them except a few details here and there... later I may add some of my own...

From what I have seen so far, I still think Spain has the opportunity to make it all the way, they just look so strong and methodical... If Brasil thinks playing against Spain (I think I have them playing in the final, cannot remember and I do not have the excel file open just now) will be like playing the Ticos, they are in for a surprise.

For no other reason than the fact that Spain has had so many great individual players and teams, yet in the WC they always get creamed, have become my favorites to win it this time, (ah yes and they are playing very well); to a point, they remind me of England in 1966 --So many great players, and not until 1966 England had never won the cup.

Brasil... well, they are always my favorite too -gg I mean how can you not like them with their samba-like fútebol?

Mexico continues with its transformation. I simply cannot believe this is the same team almost did not make it out of the CONCACAF, playing like this; they would have made tacos out of Ticos. -g They let the Italians live as they missed at least twice in the second half, plus they slowed down almost to a crawl allowing Del Piero their redemption. (For now). Mexico is still a question mark to me as I keep thinking that at any moment they will revert back to their old game... (I hope they don't) That coach must have put some serious psychological work on this team.

I can tell you this... If Mexico and the USA meet in the next group, we are going to see some serious game of fútbol, The USA team is very feat and has taken a very positive attitude, the Mexicans are playing well and they are not about to let the US beat them in a world cup, which is EXACTLY what the USA would love to do... so watch out for that game... (I believe for that to happen the USA has to finish in 2nd. place in their group, and I doubt they will risk that just to play Mexico). In fact, they would be foolish if they don't go out and massacre the Poles. I assure you Portugal is going to do its best to cream the Koreans, (I am not so sure they will be able to do it)

Anyway... I must go now... later...

Thanks for your "review". My only disagreement is that England has "looked good". They scored 2 goals in 3 games!
