Actually wouldn't you expect a more serious drop once the MM's realize they cannot achieve max pain. I would think we could see 1410 pretty quickly once they start shorting for delta hedging.

I have been checking the QQQ max pain using: iqauto.com

We're only down to 31 Max Pain, but the relative level
of pain from 29 to 33 has been flattening out. With
some option covering, we could be down to 29 pretty
easily. I haven't given up hope completely about seeing
29 again. On the next bounce tomorrow, I'll start adding
to the QQQ puts. With the low 1300 target for the COMP,
the target for the QQQ should be somewhere around 23.
