Take a dollar out of your wallet. Now look at it closely. Can you tell me that has not shrunk imperceptibly in the last 24 hours? Weigh it carefully. Are you certain it is the same weight as it was the other day? In fact, it is degrading every time you handle it. This effect is known is called the law of economic entropy. If interest is 5%, our dollar has shrunk by 1.337 hundredths of a percent in one day. This means that the dollar has shortened by 1/1000 of an inch in 24 hours. It doesn't sound like much, but it adds up after a while. It helps to explain how you can put a 1 dollar bill in your wallet and at the end of the year, it is not there at all anymore.

Try it. I will bet you cannot buy a chance on getting hit by a bus after holding that dollar for one year.

The Japanese just converted their money into US debt as it, (T-Bills) paid six times better interest than their banks. This hurt their production rate and balance of payments.

Cheap money is a double edged sword, as there is no place to park money that keeps up to inflation. As money gets cheaper its rate of return in banks falls to meet inflation rates it creates. The rate of return of investments created with the cheap money, in turn is overtaken by the inflation they create.

Tempation's page flies out the door, Suicide words are torn from the fool's gold mouthpiece, plays wasted words, proves to warn that he not being born is busy dying.

It's easy to see without lookin' too far that not much is really sacred.

Though the rules of the road have been lodged, its only people's games that you've got to dodge.

You lose yourself you reappear, you suddenly find out you have nothing to fear.

Though the masters make the rules for the wise men and the fools, I have nothing ma, to live up to.

When one sings with his tongue on fire, gargles in the rat race choir, bent out of shape from society's pliers, cares not to come up any higher, but get you down into the hole that he's in.
