Hi RON, I agree, though my only experience with Jesuits was at Loyola U. Other than that I had Dominican and Franciscan nuns as teachers. One of the remarkable things about the teaching of the Catholic Church was their acceptance of evolution as a legitimate theory. When I talk to Creationists, my skin crawls because they're so willing to delude themselves with nonsense. I guess it's part and parcel of why they have such goofy ideas as "the red heifer" and their efforts to advance the Second Coming by drooling over the Israelis. Weird stuff. I wished we had a modern day Hunter S. Thompson to write "Fear and Loathing in Jerusalem". Kinda put all that insanity into perspective.... <g> -R.
