It really, really ticks me off... it's quite clear from the newspaper reports that Joe Public is just a political football in a pissing contest between AT&T and the city council. San Jose council wants an outrageous amount of freebies, and AT&T won't give them. They've been fighting for over 2 years now, and still deadlocked. Whole thing could be over and done by now, 100% wired, except for that.
