Terry. Roger that. And well said.

Debate in a spirit of good fellowship is very productive.

Investors are bombarded with so much information that identifying key evidence vs insignificant details or WS and financial media noise<g> is the difference between a good buying decision and a bad one. On more than a few occassions a friend has directly or indirectly triggered my realization that one or more items underpinning my confidence in holding a position weren't the key elements in the market environment that would determine the outcome trade.

Guess that's one reason sell stops were invented.

Some of the smartest decisions I've every made involved taking a 4 or 5% loss early in a decline. Hard to do sometimes. But, over the years I've seen most of those those stocks lose 20 to 30% a few weeks after I bailed. And that more than anything drove home how important it was to admit I was wrong, had made a few bad buys, take that small quick loss And most important preserve almost all my capital to come back and fight another day..

My old mentor used to say, "If you're going to panic? Panic fast, before everybody else does". Always like that one.

Best regards,

Iso
