Trading range, IMO. Can't go straight up (yet), too early in the cycle. I see August as the beginning of the runup for the miners and the break of 950 on the S&P (implicit assumption is that 950 holds in next couple of days, setting up summer rally).

Miners will retest lows. Sell now, buy again later for the big move.

I read in the Times recently that Al Queda is buying gold to shield its assets from being frozen by us. Was wondering if a possible strategy would be for the US and some of its allies to dump gold on the market in the name of fighting terrorism, and would such an action have any meaningful, long lasting effect on Al Queda?
