09:52 ET Univ of Michigan consumer sentiment 90.8; weaker than expected : The Michigan consumer sentiment number fell to 90.8 for early June, down significantly from May's 96.9 and much weaker than the 96.6 consensus; this could add to the selling pressure this morning, particularly as it comes on the heels of a disappointing retail sales report.
