Why would the airlines need to be "taxed" to provide better security. The FAA could mandate it and the cost could be passed along to consumers in the form of higher ticket fares which I (as a frequent traveler) would gladly pay to avoid being flown into a building....

Why is it that the first option which you demolibs look at is taxes.....????
