Paulo reported Friday. Recently, Telemar said Oi was up and ready to start operations once the regulatory green light came. Oi has 1,800 radio base stations installed and coverage in 10 states and 200 cities. Oi is receiving 1.1 billion reals ($1=BRR2.71) of Telemar's BRR2.5 billion capital expenditures budget in 2002. ART
