Mike, actors, that says it all. A bunch of folks who are expert on creating make believe. Just another example of how stupid the taking heads are who report the news. The good thing is one has a window into what are the fictional positions.

<<The signatories to the protest letter include prominent U.S. critics Ed Asner and Ossie Davis, civil rights scion Martin Luther King III, feminist Gloria Steinem, Rabbi Michael Lerner and playwright Eve Ensler.>>

Wasn't that additional, poorly-drawn "X" at the bottom supposed to be Alec Baldwin?

More "trickle-down truth" from Cummings

Whenever Michael Cummings posts a newsmax.crap.com article, all the board can see firsthand why Michael embraces the newsmax.crap.com method so much.

It fits his philosophy of not letting the facts stand in the way of a bash headline.

Michael's headline says: "American Lefties say U.S. Deserved 9-11" ... no doubt about it ... definite.

First paragraph of the story, however, says: "... releasing a letter that includes the suggestion that the U.S. may have actually deserved what it got on 9-11."

(Note the double "iffy" qualifiers ... "suggestion" and "may have deserved." From that sentence Michael and newsmax.crap.com have no qualms with posting a misleading, lying headline.)

Now we come to the actual text wording in the story:

"We too mourned the thousands of innocent dead [on 9-11] and shook our heads at the terrible scenes of carnage," the signatories said, "even as we recalled similar scenes in Baghdad, Panama City and, a generation ago, Vietnam."

From that simple statement newsmax.crap.com and Michael Cummings spin a headline that says: "American Lefties Say U.S. Deserved 9-11."

Some people have no shame whatsoever.
