US $ sitting at 17 month low against the Euro so your point on confidence is well taken.

Canada is recovering faster then USA right now. That's why the Bank of Canada has already raised rates, and is likely to raise by as much as 3% in total for the whole year {Bank of Canada statement earlier this month}
