wbmw, like I said before, this is 1 out of a million important apps. Also, what incentive do these 450 out of 500 companies have to move their SAS onto IA-64 servers? The transition seems fraught with perils. No clear advantage and possible issues. I am sure most of the 45 companies will play the wait and see game.

Judging from the difference in profits (and valuation) between INTC and AMD, a pebble to Intel is a boulder to AMD. ;-)
