IB is $1 per contract.. no flat fees. It's even less for very low priced contracts. The interface supports user directed access to all 5 exchanges, or you can let IB do the routing for you.

Glad Dan passed on the info. Today was moving day and I didn't have access to anything. I did buy another 100 shares of QCOM at 28.29, but had to do it over the phone with Scottrade, so now my cost basis on the whole lot is a couple of dollars less-around $50. One of the many reasons I don't go into too many details about much of anything is that I tend to make mistakes-for instance, yesterday I claimed a 12% return per year on my entire tech portfolio, while in fact it has only been 12% total. Anyway, I wanted to correct that. Now I've got to review what happened today. For all I know, QCOM closed at 10.
