How about mentioning some stocks fitting this criteria?

"Why on earth buy TYC when you can buy just about ANYTHING out there with solid management, zero debt, and a ridiculously cheap share price because of market conditions? dosnt make sense.."

Curious if you took any position in PLMD when it was under $15?

Re: TYC: With the June Call Options very high relative to the Puts, the "maximum pain" objective would be to get TYC around $10 a week from now. Go check out the open interest amounts for this month to verify.

I have a hedged position via options on TYC through Oct and bullish TYC on Jan 2003 options expiration. Currently, do not own any long or short TYC shares. Shall short TYC during the next 7 days if it exceeds 15.75 or over 18.25 during the next 5 weeks.

Overall, I am bearish TYC short-term (excluding any muckraking articles from the press) because, I believe, they shall only net between 4 - 5 billion on the CIT IPO, which shall cause further cost reductions and, hopefully, a significant change in the makeup of the Board of Directors.

Bottom Line - TYC may revisit the $8 range again during the next few months. If so, I intend to load up with long shares at that time while, concurrently, selling $5 Jan 2004 naked put contracts if the premium amount received for those contracts is at least $2.50.
