How about the rest of you who are more settled down?

I live in an Adult community (over 40) on the outskirts of the Phoenix metro area. Broadband is via my local cable company. After a very rocky start it is now very stable and the bandwidth is quite good. I'm happy until >1Mbps is available.

"Is it possible to foster more competition in the market for broadband? How?"

Remove Colin Powell's son Michael as head of the FCC. He is to competition as Wendy Gramm, Senator Gramm's wife was to shareholder rights when she was on the board at the FTC and director of Enron.

Uh, notice a pattern here?

Even people in rural areas can get broadband...
Starband satellite. About $70 a month and set up of about $500.
