Nice try. Who are you trying to convice, yourself?

The investigations will continue, regardless, and the truth will push aside anyone who stands in the way.

If you have a better way of assuring national security, be my guest. If you want to sit back, call yourself some party affiliation, let them do the the work and just criticize, it's you who are irrelevant.

If you think it's a Democrat issue, you are confused. I've voted independent since 1986. I'd happily vote for either if openness of government were pursued, or actual safety of our homeland, rather than allowing blatant targeting of US civilians, by (a)fear stories on a political timetable by the administration, (b)terrorism by foreigners and other Americans.

Concentrating on safety at home leaves us free to pursue a more effective international strategy. Being left open and vulnerable does the opposite, yet in 10 months there's no Homeland Security, it's a joke. This shows the priorities at work in Washington. A clue: it isn't the safety of American citizens.
