Sometimes Canada Stockwatch is the only newservice I see a mining company's NR on.

I don't know what the regulations say about dissemination of news, but sometimes you get a Trading Halt announcement from the TSX exchange on Canada Newswire saying the stock trading has been reinstated following an announcement on Canada Stockwatch, so I guess it is sufficient to just announce on Canada Stockwatch.

NR's cost a company money, so a small firm with news they may want to hide from the market, will want to do the least possible by the law and hope it remains hidden for some time. A small company with good news will of course post on many sites to pump up the stock price.

If you have really good news and can afford it, I guess you get David Vaughn to pimp your story, and get it released on Kitco.

As I said in french Frank, the text on Stockwatch originated from the Daily bulletin of the CDNX, not from TUM.

The PR on CNW was in french only probably because the placement was authorized by Québec regulators (CVMQ) and placed with french speaking investors living in Québec.

We should see the name of these two investors in the next CVMQ bulletin.

Frank,

Can't say what is the problem with CNW, caused Stockwatch has all English press releases and sedar.com has bot french and english press releases. I will try to find out.
