You are or have been in the same camp of those who openly show their hatred of Jews, do you hate them as well?

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

That was an unfortunate perception that arose from the hysterical crowd in the wake of 9/11. One particularly venomous and scurrilous vituperator (she's now as quiet as a churchmouse) put me as #1 on her "list" of US and Jew bashers. What she had intended to achieve with that "list"is best left to others' imagination.

And one "dsm" or "davemarkun" tried to "nail me to the cross." He tried to foment hatred against me so that others would hound me off SI. He failed miserably! He ended up looking like an asshole and a bore! To be sure, you damn well know who else tried and failed miserably, too. <ggg>

I was asked for my opinion on Jews (on the GPM thread) and I wrote that, to me, Jews are just like other people, with goodniks and badniks and hypocrites among them. There were no protests against what I wrote. I believe some folks, however, quietly disagreed with me.

No, I don't hate Jews. As a matter of fact, I have a number of Jewish friends with whom I play chess regularly. BTW, just as in the sciences where the vast
majority of Nobel Prize Winners were Jews, so too in professional chess, there have been many world class players. Steinitz, Emmanuel Lasker, Max Euwe, Mikael Botvinnik, and Robert Fischer were world chess champions!
