The so-called intelligence services have been incompetent for much longer than two or three admininstrations.

Secrecy breeds criminality and incompetence, as well as contempt for the US taxpayer, whom they feel entitled to take advantage of.

Sustained attacks on civilian, or the wrong targets, only increase the threat to the Homeland. Only by direct attacks on those proven to be enemies will security be increased.

As it is, Saudi Arabia is clearly an enemy. Instead of resolving that, our intel and administration are maintaining cozy relations, even as they pay terrorist families who plan suicide attacks against the US.

It doesn't matter if it is Clinton or Bush, any administration that allows that isn't really a "war", but makes itself look like it's running bogus combat of political and financial convenience.

That is total bull. The military that has performed so well in Afghanistan was Clinton's. The only ones who ridiculed any attempts to us the military under his admin were the repugs. Lastly no admin in our history would have responded to 9/11 any differently than has been done. That is why support was so bipartisan. Any debate going on now has to do with a govt that is trying to politicize that tragedy just as your post has. pathetic.
