According to a court document in the public domain, Mr. Elgindy has a father, sister, and brother who reside in Chicago, IL. He has a mother who resides in Dayton, OH.

The Chicago friend comment might be in reference to Mr. Scanshift.

I think more investigation should be done into this charity and it's Chicago office to see if it has any affiliation with the people and entities named in the NYT article.

It is a horrid thought to think we could innocently donate to a charity somewhere with thoughts of helping those in need and in reality be funding a terrorist organization that turns around and nukes our government. We have to do everything possible to catch these people.
