points to ponder:

I was talking with my next door neighbor yesterday about the market. He knows that I have been shorting the market lately and wanted to tell me about something that one of his buddies had said to him. Basically said that we had better watch out for the end of June and that we were going to test the september lows.

Y'all have heard the same thing about two million times now, right?

Everyone knows that we are going to test the september lows and then bounce right back up to 5000 on the naz. Bear market is over then...wooohooo.

And everybody knows that the bottom is going to happen during the last week of June.

Is there anybody here who hasn't had it drilled into their head that June 25-28 is going to be the watershed period?

Ok, well, if I am right that the timeframe and depth of the pullback are known and accepted by a large number of people, doesn't it make sense that it can't happen that way. I think we may have touched on this a couple of times on this thread, but I think we really need to be thinking along the lines of the bottom happening before those dates or those dates only being a ledge from which to drop more. And as I mentioned before, I think we slice right through the september lows like a knife through jell-o.

But then again, we could bounce like we did in March...
