No. I intended to read a lot of Ch. stuff, but the language defeats me. I read the sayings of Confucious in en. I found that few people in China or Taiwan know the man's work, as his writings were not preserved by comm. culture. If you repeat a saying they will give you a blank look. If you ask what Confucious valued as the highest social good (filial piety), they will also not be able to reply. I tink confuciouis was right about fp. If you have obedient families, you get social harmony.
