Really, I'm not so much into charts. I'm amature at best. But I hope we aren't headed into a nightmare for the S&P500. That would not be good. As far as macro theories go, the one that makes most sense to me is the population cycle theory that says that Baby Boomer spending will reach its zenith around 2009. That makes most sense to me. If that's true then we have some very good years ahead, followed by a decade of real underperformance by large caps.
