i use it and several friends use it.

the problem is it seems when the cd is returned, it got stolen in the mailing. my friend lives in nyc, she has 2 episodes and her apartment's doorman stopped subscribing the service himself after he experienced 3 episodes.

so, judge it by yourself.

as for the service itself, it is great.

Yup, use it, like it. Minimum plan is enough since there is no time limit for return. It is pleasant not to have to dash to Blockbusters or Hollywood with the selection didn't get around to viewing until DEADLINE time. Cheers

Rich1... I used netflix for three years... service was great for the first two or so then returns slowed and shipments slowed.. I live on east coast and the warehouse was on west coast... They used to let you update date of return in mail on web and they would release two dvd's... no longer now they will not release until they are received... After 9/11 mail slowed and it wasn't worth it any longer to continue with them.. Also they started charging sales tax which I never understood and raised prices, I believe they are in the process of opening a warehouse on East Coast or have opened one up....
I found a small company outside Portland Me. great turnaround, less of a selection, cheaper prices, no sales tax and have been using them for several months.... www.dvdrentalzone.com
