In a June 11th filing with the SEC, Legg Mason reported that it had reduced it's holdings of TOY to 129,892 shares, or 0.06% of the total shares outstanding.
Their 13F filing for 2002Q1 showed that they owned 14,218,490 shares.

This data indicates that Legg Mason, for one, isn't very optimistic about future prospects for TOY.
I expect a major announcement to come out of Amazon.com and TOY : TOYS R US (NYSE) soon.
