The only "fly in the ointment" is that many Saudis (and Jordanians) will have to die in order to overthrow the Wahhabis...

And then there will be a continuing insurgency against the Hashemites by those groups.

This will require considerable "repression" by the Hashemites until they have control over the religious castes in holy cities.

And that's why all of the peripheral Arab states will need to be "neutralized" and under Hashemite influence or control.

But we have to recognize that there is an inherent risk in permitting the Hashemites to realize their long-sought dream of a unified Arab nation. It will give them emmense economic power in controlling all of that oil.

The British realized decades ago that it's better to have these nations bickering amongst one another.

Thus, I can accept that western leaders would permit anything other than a regime change in Arabia.
