Mike it was not only MU but almost every bloated Dot.com Tech stock that Janus and Fidelity has in it portfolio. I remember that each morning she was reporting "buyers in size" for every nothing news or even giveaway.

All classic shorts from QCOM, SUNW, CIEN, LU, NT, YHOO, AOL,AMZN , CMGI and a slew of many other so called "blue chips" high tech stocks which are well below 10% of their highs today.

As to short busting it is also common practice in other financial markets and the big banks make a living out of it.
