Weekly update of market, volume, and volatility trends (based on the 250 stocks I follow): Updated for close of trading day Friday, 06/14/2001 Volatility is finally on the rise. The shorts are going to have to change their tactics as an uptrend is at hand, IMO. COHU's problem is that it could buck the market trend for only so long. This is true for most strong stocks - most must get their beating before this sustained bear trend is reversed. We have not reached the end of technological innovation and growth. This downturn is a direct result of the Internet overbuild and the Y2K buildup. Technology growth is necessary to compete. Technology growth is exponential. Prepare for the next wave.
