Actually, my moose and ice comments (I also sometimes make moose & squirrel comments) were HUMOR.

The problem with humor is that sometimes it is taken seriously and results in long, lecturing responses. <g>

Frankly, I always found the "moose and ice" the most appealing aspects about Canada. Beautiful country.

I used to go fishing on the Rideau in Ontario for a week every September. Nice area right around Kingston/Elgin. My uncle used to go hunting way up in the Canadian wilderness, a bit too far out there. Has to fly in on a pontoon plane, no roads.

Can't stand the damn kilometer roadsigns though. :P
