363 processors. There were 3 of the 17 processor systems.

That same compilation included Intel based HPC systems, which used a total of 332 processors.

AMD outsold Intel 363 to 332 in this particular snapshot of HPC sales.

Not what any of us would have expected, eh?

Athlon really excels at real-world, compute intensive applications like modeling (which is the core of many HPC applications).

Imagine how well Hammer will do!
