I didn't notice any problems with dvd quality.... You will get one every so often that needs cleaning or will not run.. I run into it once an awhile with dvdrental zone.... they tell me all dvd's are clean before reshipping. I send an email and they release another copy to me.
Again the big problem with netflix.. was much longer delays, price increases, sales tax for purchases over web and they have no business in my state (pa). also stopped letting you confirm returns until four days after you have mailed the dvd back.. then if dvd is on back order they hold up shipment for another two days to see if your dvd request comes in...imo it is just another delay to cut down shipment turnaround. They could easily go to the next dvd in que.
netflix does have a much larger dvd inventory... for a first month free trial it is worth the experience after a month I dropped netflix.
