wld, you've nailed a huge issue, one that local voters started funding after the netscape ipo launched the big netdream in 1996. the results, in public schools, now look pathetic. recent data on national k-12 test scores show home schooling to be the most effective.

it annoys a lot of people that one factor-the pragmatic and loyal commitment of parents to the best education of their children-will always achieve the best results.
