And it's not like Clinton didn't know about it. he could have came down hard on Andersen the last time, but just slapped them on the wrist, and asked them to try a little harder to cover up their wrongdoings.

Could have stopped the corruption, could have improved the FBI - especially after Waco, the whole world saw how messed up the FBI was after that operation - could have arrested Osama in Suadan.

The Andersen verdict, really a moot point - they have already been destroyed. And, with Duncan turning state's witness and admitting he obstructed justice while working for Andersen, there was no other verdict, except to say Duncan was lying to keep the Feds from harassing him, which IMO he was.

We need a complete overhaul of our criminal justice system. A new department isn't going to fix anything. Just throwing money at the problem never ever fixes it.

This country really really went down hill under the former administration in all ways. But as long as people's 401k's were inching up, who cared - right? Even if the markets were being illegally manipulated. Nobody cared until reality set in. That is part of Bush's trifecta. Some trifecta. I wish demolibs such luck.
