furr- does the 'no politics' rule apply to for instance the effect on the elections if the prevailing gloom and dir predictions on this thread come true as opposed to the kind of politics about Pakistand and foreign relations etc.

For example consideration of what might happen if Sofite was right and the market dropped to 800 a week before the Nov elections. I don't consider that that is the kind of 'politics ' that the rule applies to.
